The future of the Commonwealth depends on the education its youth receive today. When students succeed, it is not only through their efforts but with the support of a community that works to push those students ever higher. As an educator, Bilal is honored to assist in that journey, fostering growth, enthusiasm, and a lifelong love of learning.

As your Delegate, he will ensure that every child in Virginia has every opportunity to realize their greatest potential by:

• Working with local school boards and the Department of Education to ensure that the needs apparent in each classroom are met.
• Contributing to curricular innovation by redefining work-based learning opportunities, fostering the integration of core content standards within the Arts and Career-Technical Education, and vice versa, aiming to expand educational horizons and cultivate distinct pathways for Virginia’s future community leaders.
• Addressing student hunger and health to ensure that meals are provided to all K-12 students in the Commonwealth at no cost to them.
• Advocating for new methods of attracting new teachers and retaining seasoned educators, developing plans to provide the benefits and compensation packages deserved by those who will teach the future of the Commonwealth.
